KRISTINA ISSA (SE/SY)

Svensk-syriska multiartisten Kristina Issa är nu redo att ge världen ny musik, nya albumet "Where do we go" släpps senare i höst. Kristina har förutom att släppa fantastiska poplåtar med sitt band på albumen Afraid of Whales och Ocean Unknown satt upp föreställningarna Arabic Spring och Queen Zenobia. Hon uppträtt på scener runt om i Europa och skrivit musik för teater, radio och film. I höst är hon aktuell med ett nytt fullängdsalbum samt har en av huvudrollerna i Håkan Hellström-musikalen på GöteborgsOperan. Musiken handlar om uppbrott, utanförskap och längtan till något nytt! Stora synthar, bombastiska trummor och stor röst så berättar Kristina om historier från sig själv och andra.

Konserten ingår i samtliga festivalpass.

Swedish-Syrian multiartist Kristina Issa is now ready to give the world new music with the new album "Where do we go", that's released later this year. Other than releasing spectacular pop-songs with her band on the albums Afraid of Whales and Ocean Unknown, Issa has created the performances Arabic Spring and Queen Zenobia. She has performed on stages all over Europe and written music for theatre, radio and film. This autumn she will release her new album as well as being part of the main cast in the Håkan Hellström musical at the Gothenburg Opera. The music circles around break ups, exclusion and the longing towards something new. With great synths, bombastic drums and a large voice Kristina tells stories from herself and others. 

The concert is included in all festival tickets.
