Course leader: Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer (NO)
Inspired by folk music, classical singing tradition and vocal techniques from the avant-garde tradition, Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer has developed a non-verbal voice expression of more than 6 octaves. In her projects, she often interacts with instrumentalists and singers with different expressions and musical origins in concerts, stage performances, films and sound installations that are shown all over the world. Through multi-expressed singing sounds, she creates sound images between the realistic / unrealistic and the expected / unexpected, so that the sound itself is the narrator.
