ARTIST RESIDENCY-PERFORMING ARTS

As a part of the art and culture festival NORDISKT LJUS, Nordiska Folkhögskolan and KulturUngdom invites you to a performing arts residence during a weekend for two groups / duos. The residence is for you who want to work and / or explore an artistic idea during a weekend. Maybe you want to rehearse a performance, research an artistic issue or work on something completely new? The residence takes place at Nordiska Folkhögskolan in Kungälv and two groups will be given access to work spaces, housing and food.

Who can apply?

You who are between 18-30, are based in the Västra Götaland region and are a practitioner of some form of performing arts can apply. You can be a duo, or a smaller group. Two different constellations are accepted for the residence. In total there are 7 places.

Dates?

July 16-18. The residency begins on Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday afternoon.

What's included?

The two groups are given free access to a blackbox/studio during the weekend as well as free accommodation and meals at Nordiska Folkhögskolan.

How do I apply?

You apply by filling in a form where you tell us about who you are and what you want to do during the residency. The application for the artist residency opens on April 1 and closes on May 1.
