REGISTRATION

Our course "Individual artistic project" is suitable for those who want to work on their own project throughout the month. You get access to workspaces, guidance and a context where you can realize an idea. There are desk spaces, studio spaces, classrooms, libraries, sound recording rooms, computer programs, etc. There are also black boxes and exercise rooms, but these are slightly more pressured.

One month before the start of the course, you need to send in a project idea of ​​approx. 1 A4 in which you describe what you will work on during the month. You will receive more information about this via email when the start of the course approaches.

We recommend that you combine the course with at least one other course from the program. Contact us at info@nordisktljus.se for questions.

Previous knowledge: You need to have the ability to run your project independently.

You can choose how many days you want to be there, but attendance is mandatory on July 3 to get a tour of the premises and to meet the supervisors Svante and Theo.

Course fee single course- SEK 550 (low-income earners SEK 350)

Course package - SEK 850 (low-income earners SEK 550)

Accommodation & food - SEK 550/day (low-income earners SEK 350/day)

Supervisor: Svante Grogarn (SE)

Svante Grogarn is deputy rector and leads the acting education at the Nordic University of Folklore. Svante has a background as a director and scenographer and has worked in a variety of contexts, in Sweden and internationally, in independent groups and at institutions. He has, among other things, taught at the Gothenburg Academy of Theatre, the Gothenburg Academy of Music, the Valand Academy of Arts, the Academy of Design and Crafts.

Supervisor: Theodor Ryan (SE)

Theodor Ryan is educated in Conceptual Stage Art at Malmö Theater School. They has an interest in how artistic processes can look and often works playfully with technology and different media on stage.
